The Radiation Oncology Department at Pennsylvania Hospital has an immediate opening for a clinical radiation oncology physicist. The applicant should have an M.S. degree from an accredited school of Medical Physics, plus at least 4 years clinical experience in radiation therapy physics with the certification process in progress towards completion. We are looking for a committed professional with excellent inter personal skills. The Radiation Oncology facility is equipped with a Varian iX accelerator with kV imaging, a Siemens Oncor accelerator, a AcQSimCT, as well as a Gamma Knife 4C and a GammaMed 3/24 HDR.
A CyberKnife unit with Iris and RoboCouch is under construction and will be operational in June 2011.
