Immersion stopped by PCMag Labs to show off Motiv and explain how next-generation haptics can enhance the Android smartphone experience. Motiv is an SDK for haptics, which lets Android phone manufacturers and app developers integrate more vibration and physical feedback into their phones. Combined with new piezo vibrators, which are a step beyond the standard phone vibrator, they make for a much more subtle and well-integrated feedback system.
