Today, IMMR partner Nyko has for sale their new Wand for the Nintendo Wii which won "Best of CES 2009" in the Gaming category.
Like Nintendo's WiiMote, it has haptics (though Nyko's haptics are licensed from IMMR). Unlike Nintendo, peripheral controllers which attach to the main unit may also rumble. Nyko is expected to release a rumbling equivalent to Nintendo's "Nunchuck" soon.
Nyko is also releasing a light gun accessory to the Wand, the Pistol Grip. The Wand/Pistol Grip combo eliminates previous clumsy mechanized trigger/controller links by using Nyko's digital electric "Trans-Port" technology. Trans-Port is what allows rumble commands to be passed through to peripherals.
