Erlanger Managers Achieve Performance Goals

The Erlanger Health System management team received incentive payouts this week for achieving fiscal year 2009-10 performance goals set by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority Board of Trustees.

Erlanger Board Chairman Dr. Dan Quarles said “At a time when many hospitals across the state and nation are struggling to break even, Erlanger achieved a strong financial performance. This accomplishment, particularly for a safety net hospital like Erlanger, allows us to reinvest in our employees, as well as our facilities and cutting-edge technology.”

Among the more notable business partnerships and accomplishments this year were the announcement of Erlanger at Volkswagen Drive, the health system’s sixth campus serving Volkswagen employees, their families, as well as the surrounding community; acquisition of a CYBERKNIFE, the region’s first and most advanced non-invasive device for treating inoperable tumors.
